November Update & Need
Hi… it’s been along time since I have posted, mainly due to COVID-19!!!
This post is on behalf of Reaching Across Community Development Coalition. Due to coronavirus I have not been able to do fundraisers or anything!
We have been (by the Grace of God ??) sharing rice and other supplements with them about 2 to 3 times a week but our funds have run dry! We would like to give each family a 25 pound bag of rice which is $13.50 and would like to add oil for cooking and seasoning. This will total about $20 per family this month, and we have approximately 80 families now.
We would like to give them these provisions right before Christmas on December 21 and I am asking if you could help me by supporting a family or two.
As all of you are aware this has been a hard season for all of us, and I thank God that we did not lose anybody to the Covid virus in Liberia. ??

July 2020 – COVID update
I am so sad, due to COVID-19 and USA handling of the pandemic, I will not be able to do my missionary work in Liberia this year. We have been sending money over for food every two weeks. I thank God for all of you that have given your support for these 84 families we serve. By God’s Grace we want to continue. All 150 are out of School. Help me pray for a miracle that Reaching Across can help them get back to School when it opens.
Liberia lock-down: critical needs
I am sure that you are all aware that there is a lock-down in Liberia because of the spread of coronavirus. Please know that we are praying for our families and that we are trying to raise money for food to send. We are aware of the hardships they already are facing, and now with shelter-in-place orders from the government, the economic system and hardship that this will cause will be great…. to the point that people will not be able to look for food.
So, I am reaching out to all friends of Reaching Across to ask them to help us help feed the children and their families, in order to help them all get through this very difficult time in our globe’s history. Please visit our Donate page — anything you can give is very helpful and very much appreciated! Thank you all, and please be sure to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly.

Liberia Trip Recap – Oct. 2019
I would like to thank Madison Square Church family, Resonate and Providence Baptist Church for allowing me to go on this short term ministry trip. I can say that I did not have enough Faith in God that things will work out the way they did.
This trip was during the rainy season, and on the day we called a meeting for the parents it was raining very hard. However 87 parents showed in the heavy rain to sign up their children for school — this is one of the Faith in God I’m talking about. I was able to go in and interview 16 school Principles and tell them about our Madison Square and Providence Baptist Church connection. God was very awesome — he connected me to Josikan International Academy who decreased their school fees in half allowing us to put 17 children in their school. This is just another testimony to what God did for us. In all we were able to get 70 children in school including paying full tuition for 40 children. For the six weeks I was there my Faith in God increased. I didn’t think that we will be able to do this maybe just have 40 to 50 children in school, but we were able to place all 70 children in school.
I went to work at BoWaterside clinic and they introduced me to a young lady — her name is Musu — she was a Muslim but in the school that she attends at BoWaterside it is a Christian school and this young lady decided to commit her life to Christ. Her family, upon hearing this, made her an outcast and refused to pay for her tuition, her uniforms, books…. everything. This young lady is now being cared for by BoWaterside and Madison Square.
This year makes it 20 years that I have been a part of our sister to sister relationship and God has brought me from the back of Madison Square Church to become a part-time missionary for Resonate and to start a nonprofit called Reaching Across to serve His Children in Matadi Liberia — and I give God all the praise!!!
thank you
